Adopt-a-Shelf:

Sponsor a shelf at the food bank to make sure every family gets the food and supplies they need! Consider adopting our Gluten-Free or Hygiene Shelf or providing non-dairy, vegetarian or vegan options for those with dietary restrictions.

Neighborhood Food Drive:

Volunteer group selects neighborhood(s) in town and drops off flyers at people's houses letting them know when they will be back to collect items and what items are needed from their front porches. Group gathers again at this later date to go around and collect items in the time window given.

Flash Neighborhood Food Drive:

Very similar to the above, the group selects neighborhood(s) in town and knocks on doors to ask people to donate items with flyer listing items- then groups will return to houses that have been met with to pick up donated items. This consolidates the fundraiser into one day but is able to give people some time to go through their pantries!

Food Drive at Grocery Store:

Prior to the date you want to hold your food drive, you’ll want to call a store and explain what you are hoping to do and ask for permission to set up a donation table at the doors for the intended donation drive date. Your volunteer group will stand in front of the grocery store entries and hand out flyers to shoppers with lists of what items the food bank is looking for. Shoppers are able to purchase items along with their groceries and drop them off to volunteers on their way out the door. These are some potential stores you can do this donation drive at:

Food Drive Bin:

Place a clearly labeled bin for food donations in a location that gets regular foot traffic for an allotted time. We have clearly labeled bins that can be dropped off or picked up for your organization to use.
