Interested in volunteering at the South Corvallis Food Bank?
We are always looking for hosts to assist clients during open
hours at the food bank. You must attend a half-hour training before
starting to volunteer and be willing to commit to volunteering at least 3
times. Our hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday
12:30 – 3:30, Thursday 4:30 – 7:30, and Saturday 9:30- 12:30. No experience is needed, just come to a
training!!
Trainings will be held in the first week of each month:
First Monday at 12:30 pm
First Thursday at 4:30 pm
First Saturday at 9:30 am
Volunteer coordinator – Help
with trainings (see above). Help with
communicating with volunteers, organizing volunteer ongoing education, and
perhaps taking over as volunteer scheduler.
We use ‘Sign-up Genius’ which is easy to use and manage.

Office Organizer – We are
focused on giving food to the needy of south Corvallis and our office
organization needs some help.
General Cleaning and Organizing is always needed; Thursday
mornings is usually a time when that happens.
Produce Manager – be there before a shift to help sort and
put out produce for clients.
Food Demos – come cook up something yummy from the produce or
other things we have on hand to share with clients. Share recipes, too.
